What this is

Personal Injury & Wrongful Death, in plain terms.

Liability cases are won and lost on what was captured in the first few weeks. Skid marks fade, a defective step gets replaced, a business overwrites its camera on a thirty-day cycle, and a witness who was standing right there moves to another state. None of that is recoverable later.

The investigation runs in parallel with the legal work. We document the scene as it is now, secure the video before it goes, find and interview the people who were there, and pull the records - maintenance, inspection, prior complaints - that show whether this had happened before.

The work

What actually gets done.

  • Document the scene with photography, measurements and conditions.
  • Identify and preserve surveillance and dashcam footage before it is lost.
  • Locate and interview witnesses and first responders.
  • Obtain incident, inspection, maintenance and prior-complaint records.
  • Investigate the defendant: entity, insurance of record, related litigation, assets.
  • Support the accident reconstruction expert with the underlying material.

Legal Investigations

Built for the file, not for the story.

Statements taken on the assumption somebody will ask how. Chain of custody maintained. An investigator who can be put on the stand to speak to his own work.

What you get

At the end of it.

  • A complete scene file with photographs and measurements.
  • Preserved video with a documented chain of custody.
  • Witness statements taken while the memory is fresh.
  • The supporting records, indexed.

When people call

The three situations we hear most.

The incident was recent

This is the moment the evidence exists. Every week after costs something.

Liability is disputed

When fault is contested, the physical record decides it.

There may be another defendant

A property owner, a contractor, a manufacturer. Finding them is part of the investigation.

Questions

About this service.

How quickly do you need to get to the scene?

As fast as we can. Video is the hard deadline - thirty days is common and some systems keep a week. A preservation letter helps, but somebody has to identify which cameras exist first.

Do you work with plaintiff or defense counsel?

Both. The work is the same either way: establish what actually happened.

Can you find out what insurance a defendant carries?

We can find what is of record and what is discoverable, and identify the entities and policies in play. We do not obtain anything that is not lawfully available.

Is the first conversation really free?

Yes, and it is confidential. You describe the situation, we tell you whether an investigation is likely to help, roughly what it would involve and what it would cost. There is no charge for that call and no obligation at the end of it.

Where we work

Four metros, and the rest of Texas.

Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio are where most cases start. Coverage runs to the whole state, and records and asset work is run nationally.
